WorkShops

Intro to Acting - Sundays April 10th to May 29th at 9:00am - 11:00am MST

How do you walk into a room? What are you already saying before you speak to someone else. In this workshop we discover what it means to ground our movement and speak volumes, before we speak words. Have you ever been curious how your instincts about a person have been so spot on or why they have not? Verbal makes up a very small portion of our actual communication compared to our non-verbal actions. In this Zoom phase it is even more important we are getting across our ideas, thoughts, and actions.
We will briskly touch on some movement methods while delving deeply within the craft of how our bodies talk to one another even before we speak. How each of our choices heightens ourselves or the other people we engage with. This important class addresses the high stakes that non-verbal communication plays in our storytelling, communication, and how we live.
